Rebecca Minkoff Nikki Hobo

This has to be my favorite purse. The quality of the leather, the chic design, the craftsmanship are all wonderful. I chose a purple, but I will be buying some other colors as well. It wears very well, holds a little or a lot, and feels great on my shoulder. Rebecca Minkoff is a great designer, and her bags are phenomenal. You will not be disappointed if you get this purse, and you'll probably want more than just one color. I carry this bag very frequently, and always receive compliments on it.

This is the bag I use everyday, but let me tell you, it's heavy once you start putting in things like a wallet, small make-up bag, cell phone, keys, etc. I like to carry a small bottle of water, too, but stopped because it's just too ridiculous. The bag is very well done, the leather is like butter. The gold rings have weight to them, plus the leather and beautiful lining, so all of the quality craftsmanship together in this bag give it some pretty substantial weight. When you start adding your actual purse contents, it can be quite a workout! Something to consider if you have back or shoulder problems. Style-wise, it's a lovely purse.

Received it today and was defective in more than one way. The hardware had deep scratches, the bag handle hardware color (golden rose tone) did not match the rest of the hardware color (bright gold), the right strap was twisted, and the bottom straps were very very thin and I couldn't figure out why till I looked at my older nikki and realize that this one, the chocolate one, had a single ply of leather for the straps vs the regular double ply. This makes a huge difference, it totally changes the quality of the bag and even shape and also makes it look cheap. I'm highly disappointed.
